About Studio Tabassomi

The diverse work of the Tabassomi graphic design studio ranges from book design and printed material, to exhibition conception and realisation, to corporate and web design. Every project demands an individual approach and intense communication and collaboration with partners and clients.

Leila Tabassomi (born 1979 in Berlin) studied graphic and book design in Berlin, Bath (UK) and Leipzig, where she graduated in the typography class of Prof. Günter Karl Bose (see “Be-Schreibungen”). She subsequently completed postgraduate studies (Meisterschüler) under Prof. Oliver Klimpel. For her final project she conceived and realised the exhibition project “Szeemann, and Now?”, which was included in the thematic exhibition organised by Paolo Bianchi “Tausend Stimmen” in 2012.

Leila has conducted seminars and courses in the field of graphic design and typography and has held workshops in such locations as the Goethe-Institut Tashkent and the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung. From 2013 to 2014 she was in-house graphic designer for the Deutsche Theater Berlin, where she created a new corporate design in collaboration with Sabine Meyer.
